Ambitions of Idaho is currently seeking an Intervention Specialist, previously Habilitative Interventionist (HI). We have opportunities to work in the community and in the schools. This job is working with children from ages 3-21 who have Developmental Disabilities. Ambitions is looking for qualified individual that are passionate about working with children who have developmental disabilities, willing to work afternoons/evening and individuals that are reliable.
Job Duties
- Complete daily documentation
- Practice shill building
- Managing behaviors
- Implementing programs
Qualifications
- Habilitative Intervention Certificate
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field
- 1,040 supervised service hours working with children with developmental disabilities
Additional qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Pass criminal background check
- Current driver’s license
- Valid car insurance
Salary
- $20-$22 and hour depending on experience
